HYGEN KLINX · Building

Automated hygiene for shared entrances.

Every shared entrance receives what people and animals collect outside. Building extends the HYGEN KLINX project to residential buildings, hospitality, workplaces and infrastructure, with requirements assessed for each entrance.

Contemporary shared building entrance

Use cases

Every entrance has its own rhythm.

The Building concept does more than replicate a domestic solution: it considers traffic levels, architectural integration, operations and maintenance.

01

Residential

Residential buildings and housing complexes with shared entrances.

02

Hospitality

Hospitality venues focused on guest experience and quality of space.

03

Workplace

Offices, headquarters and high-traffic professional environments.

04

Infrastructure

Complex settings that require purpose-designed solutions.

Flows and contamination

Each passage can bring new residue.

Soles and paws can carry organic residue, dust, microorganisms and substances from the surfaces crossed. At shared entrances, location, weather and traffic change the material that needs managing.

Assessment starts with traffic, accessibility, maintenance and project objectives. Performance will be measured through tests suited to the use setting.
01 · Organic residue

Faeces and urine

Traces of faeces and urine may be present on outdoor surfaces. Contact can leave residue on soles and paws, even when little is visible.

02 · Biological contaminants

Bacteria, spores and viruses

Bacteria and spores have been detected on soles and paws. Viral material has been detected on soles in hospital wards: the finding relates to that setting.

03 · Chemical residue

Pesticides and dust

Studies of treated lawns documented the herbicide 2,4-D being carried into homes by footwear and animals. Transfer depends on exposure and the route travelled.

One platform, two solutions

Paws and footwear within the same ecosystem.

Building configurations can integrate PET KLINX and HOME KLINX and adapt to each entrance without confusing functions or users.

From context to project

A shared entrance is a system, not a point on a plan.

Configuration starts with people, flows, architecture and operations. This matrix makes visible the questions that must be resolved before any technical proposal.

Building design

Not a product to place. A system to integrate.

Every application requires preliminary analysis. Final configurations will be developed and validated with the appropriate technical partners.
